Shadowblade and all fiction writing moving
I’m moving all my fiction writing and short stories to http://fictionspot.net This includes the Shadowblade Diary. By tomorrow night I will be adding the 3rd part of the series so be sure to check in. I will keep this blog for my visual art projects. And since I got a new camera I will be updating tomorrow with some new watercolor and acrylic paintings. The reason why I am waiting for tomorrow is I need some daylight. Thanks for reading.

Shadowblade Diaries Part 1
Beyond the Great Red Desert of Zethon, which separated humans from the barbaric trolls and goblins, lay the lush green forests that contained the human kingdoms. For many years these kingdoms had peace, but Kronen, the king of Silverhill, became corrupt and sought power and magic beyond his understanding. Read more

Shadowblade Diaries Part 2
The afternoon was somber, hazy and warm. I woke up to a cat licking my face, and had been asleep for several hours on the ground in an abandoned alleyway. Using my magic earlier against the systemic affects of the crippleweed had an adverse affect making me weak and tired, so I decided to sleep. Read more

Experimentation with acrylic paint and texture.
I have been seeing some amazing abstract art lately and I am trying to duplicate some of the processes that I see. What are some of the techniques that are used? A piece that I really like is done by Soniei . I like how that texture is done with the yellow and wonder how I would do something like that with acrylic on canvas. Here is what I’ve been experimenting with example 1, example 2 . The first example is only an under-painting, and the second needs some more detail.
I have come to really like certain styles of abstract art, more specifically the Asian style with trees and flowers. I plan to do some more studies with this, and find painting these sort of things very relaxing and peaceful. By Sunday night I will have a new painting to show and some useful information about acrylic painting and texture.

Status update.
Sorry I have not posted in a while. Got several projects going on right now. Currently I’m working with Charlie Harper on a web comic called Hidden Dogma. It’s a comic about global politics. I will also start a short story blog on this site within the next several days, and start selling some of my artowrk. I plan on posting one story and one painting a week.

Unfinished acrylic painting.
This one is fun to paint. Unlike digital painting there is no undo button with acrylic on paper. Maybe I’ll do some more work on this one. I have been working on a digital painting that is taking a lot of time.
